Dive Bombing

This plane has been flying over the house for the past month now (once far too close for comfort!). I'm starting to get paranoid but I can confirm the only crime i've been committing is viewing Splash! (as I've had pointed out the exclamation mark is important to be included when naming this show. Come to think of it ! looks like someone completing a perfect dive (ironic for this show really)). 

The final Tonight!!!!!!! You've come a long way from the horrors of week 1!!! Ok I'll put the exclamation marks away now.

I think the lines/structure required to draw buildings appealed to my OCD side! That and drawing something that means something to you. This was my childhood local cinema (was scared for life by the sad bits of orphan Dinosaurs in the Land Before Time!) and sadly now been knocked down and reduced to rubble :( It did leave this amazing picture though in the process....

Home is where the art is

Found a photo on flickr of the village I grew up in, so attempted that as my drawing. Pleased with bits and not so with others (can't expect to be perfect straight away I keep trying to tell myself).

Draw Something

Starting off 2013 by taking up drawing. My family has always been split between being on the 'sporty side' or the 'arty side'...... I belonged to Team Sport but now health dictates that's not an option (at present) I'm exploring if this different sides thing is in fact myth! Don't hold your breath.....
